Campion College is proud to announce the launch of The Compass Program, a new initiative designed to provide its students with an integrated approach to career planning and professional development.
“The Compass Program takes the support we’ve always offered our students and builds a cohesive framework for blending their liberal arts skills and God-given talents into fulfilling careers,” said Campion College President Dr. Paul Morrissey. “Our graduates don’t just excel in their professions; they contribute meaningfully to society, embodying the values they developed here.”
Rather than simply offering job listings and resume workshops, The Compass Program provides a structured journey of self-discovery and career discernment. Students will explore their unique gifts and talents, learn how to apply their liberal arts education in meaningful ways, and receive guidance from trusted mentors invested in their success. Through two interactive workshops each semester, they will not only reflect on their aspirations and explore potential career paths but also engage in practical, hands-on preparation. From researching job opportunities and postgraduate courses to refining applications and building professional networks, The Compass Program ensures students have the support and resources to transition confidently from tertiary study to career.
The Compass Program is also supported by the alumni mentoring program, professional panels, and internship opportunities that allow students to build connections and experience in their chosen fields.
Campion College graduates are already making a difference in the world. They can be found in classrooms inspiring the next generation, in media influencing public discourse and in law advocating for justice. Others have answered the call to ministry, public service, business, law, healthcare and research, bringing their values and critical thinking skills to bear in transformative ways.
“Through The Compass Program, we’re empowering our students to discover their paths and make a positive impact on the world,” said Dr. Morrissey. “The program reflects our commitment to providing a holistic tertiary education—one that not only forms students intellectually and spiritually but also equips them with the skills and guidance to navigate their professional and vocational paths with confidence.”
