Double the fun as Campion runs back-to-back Summer Programs
Following the success of the Winter Program in 2019, Campion made the bold decision to host back-to-back Summer Programs in January 2020. It was a decision made with both excitement and slight trepidation, but when we had filled almost half of the available spaces within two weeks of opening registrations, we knew we were preparing for an exciting Summer experience.
On Sunday the 5th of January, we welcomed our first group of participants to campus for a week of academic and social activities. During the day, participants had the opportunity to learn more about the liberal arts and experience our core disciplines through a series of lectures and tutorials. In the evenings, we offered sports, games, trivia, films and dancing. Day Three provided the opportunity to relax mid-program, with participants enjoying beach sports and coastal walks at Bronte Beach. Before we knew it, Day Five was upon us and it was time to pack-up, say our farewells and prepare for our second program.
In total, we welcomed 80 participants across the two programs. Over a third of participants travelled from interstate to get a taste of Campion’s liberal arts degree and we even had two participants join us all the way from New Zealand!
We look forward to welcoming our participants back to Campion as students in 2020 and seeing some of our younger participants again for our Winter Program 2020 and Summer Program 2021. If you are interested in attending, we highly encourage you to register your interest via the links below.
