Earlier this month, Campion College welcomed over 100 Year 11 and 12 students to its campus for the annual Summer Program, offering a hands-on experience of life as a liberal arts student.

The program featured thought-provoking discussions on Plato’s Apology, a fascinating lecture on Sherlock Holmes, and an exploration of Australia’s cultural shifts in the 1960s. Participants also delved into the Greek alphabet and attended session with College President Dr. Paul Morrissey on “the human person,” sparking meaningful conversations about what it means to be human.

Beyond academics, the week was packed with engaging activities, including trivia, dancing, and on-campus escape rooms. The program’s centrepiece was the Formal Dinner, where an alumni panel shared insights into the wide-ranging careers of Campion graduates. Panellists Kieren Jackson (Class of 2008), Molly McDonald (Class of 2022), Brianna McKee (Class of 2019), and Jonothan Lethbridge (Class of 2022) inspired students with stories of how their liberal arts degrees continue to influence their professional journeys.

The Summer Program gave students the clarity and confidence to take the next step toward enrolling at Campion College. We look forward to welcoming many of this year’s participants back as future students.
