Community, Support, and Services

At Campion, we believe that a strong sense of community is essential to both academic success and personal growth. Here’s how we support our students:

  • Student Life Office: The Student Life Manager supports the student body through 1:1 support for students as well as providing resources, events and initiatives for the student body.
  • Student Wellbeing Team: The Student Wellbeing team looks to proactively support students who have special needs or concerns. Members of the Wellbeing Team are the President, Dean of Studies, Associate Dean of Studies, Student Life Manager, Campus Manager, Student Administration Assistant, SASH Contact Officer and Chaplain.
  • Chaplaincy: The chaplaincy team enables the Spiritual life and lived witness to the Gospel to be incorporated into the life of the College. The College Chaplain plays a key role in this dimension of college life, as well as being available to individuals. All Chaplaincy events are publicised to staff and students via email and notice boards.
  • Counselling: Counselling can be arranged through the college with either the on-site counsellor during appointed hours or through additional recommended contacts.
  • Formal Halls: Every fortnight, students, faculty and staff gather for Formal Hall. This is an exercise of the old tradition for academic communities to gather for a meal together. Those attending wear formal dress and the appropriate academic gown. There is usually a guest speaker, as well as a musical performance.
  • Study Hall: Study Hall is held regularly during the semester. All students are encouraged to attend.
